Japanese and European tradition fused
Our submission to this year's "Knife of the Year"-Award is a kitchen knife in European form. Its blade of powder-metallurgical Layered Damascus Steel (stainless) allows a very thin grind and holds its cutting abilities perfectly. The contrast of the steel grain is enhanced by intensive etching. The poplar wood for the handle was stabilized with green resin to make it a perfect ktichen companion and the colour dash gives this fusion of Japanese steel and European form a very special touch.
